Marmox insulation board is a technically advanced board designed as the perfect complement to undertile heating. If you are interested in having the most efficient responsive floor heating available, Marmox insulation boards may be the answer.
It is a water resistant insulated tile backer board made of extruded polystyrene, reinforced and covered on both sides with a fibreglass mesh embedded into a thin cement polymer mortar. The individual board is 1250mm long X 600mm wide with the optional thickness of 6mm or 10mm. It is installed using a flexible tile adhesive in a similar manner to a large tile. Marmox is completely waterproof.

Marmox insulation boards are not suitable for use directly under carpet or vinyl flooring, or tiles smaller than 150mm X 150mm. These boards have been used successfully in thousands of installations worldwide and are finally available in New Zealand.
